Where paradise turns predator. The Soucouyant is a gothic horror short film directed by VMA-winning filmmaker Michael Garcia, featuring the music of goth-metal band CreepScience . Shot entirely on location in Antigua and rooted in one of the Caribbean's most haunting legends. By day she is a reclusive old woman. By night, the Soucouyant sheds her skin, transforms into a fiery force of darkness, and slips through cracks and keyholes to hunt the living, a vampiric myth passed down in whispers across the Caribbean for centuries.

Secret Recipe Studios served as a key production partner on the project, providing 1st Assistant Director services to keep the shoot running with precision across Antigua's ancient ruins and atmospheric nighttime locations. Shot in a striking black-and-white film noir style, The Soucouyant is a bold fusion of Caribbean folklore, gothic horror, and music-driven cinema, and SRS was on the ground to help make it happen.
